Here are some of the 'manual' commands for setting various things on the PCN & GSM networks. In all cases type in the commands followed by the Send key or green handset key or whatever you have on your particular handset.
In all cases 'number' is the number you wish the call diverted to, 'service' is shown in the table below, 'delay' is from 5 to 30 seconds in 5 second increments. 'barring password' is known as 'network password' on Orange.
Service Codes
| Voice Calls (Line 1) | 11 | Voice Calls (Line 2) | 89 | |
| Fax Calls | 13 | Data Calls | 25 | |
| All Calls | 10 | All Data Calls | 12 | |
| SMS | 16 | All calls except SMS | 19 |
Generally the parameters in [ ] can be omitted, but the default 'service' if you don't specify is for Voice calls and the default 'delay' is 30 seconds.

On Orange and T-Mobile only the Check Status command is recognised. On both these networks global enabling or disabling of CLI is done by Customer Services on request. On Orange disabling outgoing CLI does not affect incoming CLI. On T-Mobile disabling outgoing CLI also disables incoming CLI. On both networks you can enable or disable CLI on a per call basis by prefixing the number you dial with 1470 or 141 respectively. If this fails, you should be able to prefix the number with *31# or #31# respectively.

| Enable | *31# | Enable | *30# | |
| Disable | #31# | Disable | #30# | |
| Check Status | *#31# | Check Status | *#30# |
